Grapevine Resurrection Study (and giveaway)

Well, I think we’re going to have to slow down on The Resurrection Study! There is still a month until Easter and Rhythm is begging to do a week’s worth of lessons everyday (4 drawings)! What an I say? He just loves his Grapevine Studies!

You’re heard me say it all before, all the reasons we so love Grapevine and what they bring to our Bible learning, but this study strikes a particular chord in my heart. This study holds the foundations of why we believe what we believe- Christ’s ultimate work and sacrifice on the cross followed by His conquering of death by rising again! Sure, we have always shared the resurrection story with our kids, but this year it has been so rewarding to get into the nitty-gritty of it with Rhythm. The pictures he is drawing have sparked so many wonderful discussions. This year he is more interested in the why of it all and he is grasping just what Jesus went through to be his Savior. This year I feel like it is becoming more personal to him. That brings so much joy to my mother-heart!

I can’t wait to repeat the study in the coming years to be able to see how much he grows in his knowledge and perception of the resurrection story and I love that we will have this earliest study to look back on and compare to. The word studies that are included in the curriculum add so much to his understanding and it will be fun to see how much more he grasps next year and the year after.

I’m not going to bore you with everything I have said before about these studies- you can go back and read them here if you would like. What I will say is that if you get no other subjects done in your day- even if you don’t homeschool- The Resurrection Study is worth your time and priority. It will reap eternal rewards and bring so much more to this resurrection season!

And just to help you out, I have a little discount code for you! Use Rez12 to take 20% off any regular-priced product at Grapevine through April 15!

And alriiiiight, I guess I’ll give away a set of Teacher and Student Resurrection Studies too! I know you want one! I’ll keep entry pretty simple- just go sign up for Grapevine’s newsletter on their home page (it’s on the top of their left sidebar) and then come back and tell me you did so. That’s it! I just want to make sure you keep up to speed on all the great info and cool new studies that Grapevine comes out with! Don’t worry- they won’t hound you with tons of emails or sell your address! They’re good people! 😉

This giveaway will run until Monday, March 12, 2012- so get your entries in quick! And tell your friends, just because you like them!

I was provided with a set of Resurrection studies for the purpose of honest review from Grapevine, but even if I hadn’t been I would have bought them anyway! Good stuff!

I just signed up. I’m glad you reposted about them because I want to show it to my husband and use it for my first year of homeschooling my 7 and 4 yearolds.

I signed up for their newsletter and bought our first package of them to use while homeschooling my 5 year old. From what I have seen, they look great. I can’t wait to start using them as I think they will really work for her. Thanks for the opportunity to win even more great products.

Oh, I am so glad that I caught this giveaway in time! I have been really wanting to try out one of their studies with Audrey + Elliot, but I wanted to wait until Elliot showed more interest in drawing. Just in the last month or so, his desire to draw and write has completely increased, so I had been looking at Grapevine’s website, wondering which study would be the best one to start with. It would be such an awesome gift to win! I just signed up for the newsletter! :)
