The December #HeartinHandChallenge is Here!!!

Ladies, this last month of walking through the #heartinhandchallenge with all of you has been SUCH a blessing to me!  Especially during a month that met us with much sickness, it was such a breath of fresh air to be able to open social media and be surrounded by scripture AND all the creativity in the ways everyone wrote them!  It only makes me even more excited for the month to come.

And oh, can I just say that December’s verses have me downright giddy?  I had been praying and praying about how to handle the advent season and then the idea came to me to view this time of year through a mother’s perspective.  What a wonderful way to ponder the weight of the miracle that was being brought forth- to view it through Mary’s eyes!  So, throughout December, instead of isolated verses, we will be approaching the challenge with more of a narrative style, walking this journey alongside Mary with all of the wonder and humble beginnings of our Lord and savior coming to earth through a young mom.

December 2016 #heartinhandchallenge

Download the book mark right here for FREE!  You don’t even have to sign up for my newsletter!  (Although, if you did, I’d be tickled pink!)

If you would like to take this idea a little bit deeper than I highly encourage you to read the books-

Giddy Up, Eunice, by Sophie Hudson (especially the first section about Mary & Elizabeth, and it’s even better in audiobook form, read by the author!)

and the novella, Unafraid: Mary, by Francine Rivers.  I think both resources will make Mary’s journey come even more alive for you!

Be sure to be watching on Periscope and Instagram @BoldTurquoise for more on the challenge and be following in our Facebook Group.  And upload your progress to IG using the #heartinhandchallenge hashtag, plus get lots of inspiration and encouragement from other ladies participating!
