Affiliate links are used in this post. You can view my policies and legal mumbo-jumbo right here.

This week’s Webisode takes you on a live tour of our school room plus I discuss how the first couple weeks of using My Father’s World Adventures Curriculum have been going. I also discuss a nice way to be able to connect with your kiddos at the beginning of the school year.

To see the written post of our school room you can click here.

And if our pastels curriculum looks interesting to you, you can check it out here:

And here are a few pictures from our first two weeks of school- lessons both at the table and in life.  Enjoy!

Do you have any tips for school spaces or getting off on the right foot with your kiddos for the year! I would also love to hear what you would like to see in future webisodes!

And as always, thanks for reading!

Thanks for your post. I have a question- I am very interested in the chalk pastel curriculum. Do you have a brand recommendation of what type(s) of pastels and paper to purchase? I know nothing about art supplies, but my daughter LOVES art, and this will make a perfect birthday present for her!

Also, a completely random question just because I am nosey. :o) Why do you wear your wedding ring on your right hand?

You are very observant! I was wondering if anyone would notice! If you watch one of my vlogs my ring actually magically appears about half-way through! Haha! The truth of it is that I have been having some sort of horrible reaction to my wedding ring for about the last year, so I am not able to wear it much of the time. I always mean to put it on before I film, but most of the time I forget! Ooops!

As far as the pastels supplies go, we are using pretty cheap stuff right now because I had some old pastels on hand and some basic art/drawing paper from Walmart. Tricia actually gives specific recommendations in her ebook however for what to buy and where. Most of it seems to be online or from Michaels. I hope that helps!
